In the Midst of Uncertainty, God is Faithful.

"I am sure of this, that he would started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." Philippians 1:6
A month ago, you never thought you would be in the position you're in now. Shutting the doors to your business. Losing your job. Sheltering in your home. Maintaining personal distance from the world. COVID-19 has literally shaken us to our core and I don't know about you, but I'm scared and anxious. There is an element of uncertainty that I've never experienced before and it has me a little on edge. Our business fills in the gaps and helps me to care for my mom, my son and other members of my family so right now, I can't see the road ahead.
Things are shaky for all of us right now but I do know this: God is faithful. Early on in my Christian journey, God gave me two Bible verses that I can honestly say have anchored me and guided the direction of my life. The first is Genesis 12:1, God's command for Abraham to leave his home and follow Him. The second is the verse above, God's commitment to complete His work in us. I'm no theologian but there are a few things I know about God (just based on experience). He loves us, He's not a liar and He's the ultimate project manager. If He starts something in your life, He's going to finish it. Trust and believe that Covid can't stop Him. Conversely, if what you were doing before quarantine was not benefiting God or you, He might be giving you the opportunity to pivot. And that's okay. Believe it or not, now is the perfect time to change the trajectory of your life. Seek God-He knows your life map (much better than you).
Do you have a Bible verse that you rest on in times of trouble? Post it in the comments below for someone else to see. Now is the time that we need to do things that lift each other up!
Affirmation for the Day:
God's not finished with me yet. I will get through this.
